Fujitsu Esprimo laptop screen light flickering on and off!!
So im looking at a Fujitsu Esprimo laptop that the backlight keeps flashing on and off. It looks like the video seen here…
After a little investigation i realised it was a loose connection to the inverter card.
So firstly unplug the battery and remove the power supply.
Prize the little rubber stoppers from the corners of the laptop and top of the laptop and you should reveal between 4-6 screws.
Undo the screws and prize the cover loose gently.
It should look something like this with the cover off.
In the next photo you will see the inverter with the socket where you can see that i have selotaped the plug to the socket. Before selotaping the socket to the plug remove the plug and plug back into the socket. You should do this about ten times. You will notice that in the photos i have the machine running. You shouldn’t unplug and plug back in whilst the machine is turned on. I have simply turned it on to check that the machine is doing as it is supposed to after the repair. Here’s the next photo with the selotape in place.
Once done put the cover pack on and the screws back in and then put the rubber stoppers back on and your done should be stable.
