Japan – Earthquake – Tsunami – Nuclear Disaster
This is the flag of Japan for those of you that haven’t seen it before.
My heart, thoughts and prayers go out the the people of Japan Tonight as i watch the disaster unfold on my TV, News stream, Twitter Feed and from Facebook Friends. Some of the first hand stories are just heart rendering. Not only did they have an earthquake with a magnitude of 9 on the Richter Scale. But a Tsunami followed 10 meters high in some places. Brick walls of water moving steel and concrete like they were Lego buildings. Totally shocking. Now a nuclear disaster is luming for the people of Japan. They need our help.
The people of Japan have been made homeless what with their houses being crushed by the earthquake or washed away by the incredible waves. Now they need to get out of areas that are expecting nuclear fallout. Again people being displaced from their homes and needing shelter.
That’s where a local charity here in Cornwall Step in. Moments of crisis like this. Providing Shelter where its needed.
