Malware Defence…
I had problems removing malware defence today, did all the normal scans with Malware Bytes. Seemed to clean things up went to reinstall AVG and it still found Malware defence the fake solution. I was scratching my head for an hour or so until i found this post…..
In some cases Malware Defense comes with trojan-rootkit that blocks anti-virus software and MalwareBytes too. You should remove Trojans first. To do this, you can downlaod TDSSKiller tool from http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.zip
Then run a full system scan with MalwareBytes anti-malware or SUPERAntispyware. Good luck!
Great utility found the little sod and made Malware Defence show itself so that i could use MalwareBytes to remove it
