Today…
So today I noticed a small scratch on my sexy iPhone. It’s pissed me off. I can see it even though it’s the tiniest of scratches. Arrrggghhh…. Tomorrow it’s sexy iPhone cover day. No more naked iPhones. Naked iPhones should be illegal.
So this morning I call into my neighbors house to say hi and out comes the laptop and the normal “whilst your here Darren….” this time it was can you connect this one to our wireless network. That went ok but it’s funny how it goes when you visit folk and they know you work with computers.
So today I rebuilt an acer travelmate 4001. It had a dodgy USB port so I unsoldered it from the motherboard. It was causing the motherboard to short out when ever anything was plugged into it. I had a spare USB socket and soldered it into place and that went smoothly. I then reinstalled windows xp home onto a fresh hard drive. The install went very well. I think my mother will be very pleased with it. Tidy little laptop. It will certainly be better than the thing from the Arc she is using now. She has never had an email address before but I set one up for her today so she can use her own instead of my fathers.
